- a knife fight started by a 4th grader
- a high school senior came and asked for one of my 3rd grade students. He started hitting him in the hall way.
- I caught one of the respectable staff having an affair at work
- respectable staff member now spreading viscious rumors
- "gramps" is looking down my friend's shirt
- my students are looking down my shirt
- a million bullshit meetings a day... they are a waste of time and accomplish nothing
I am sad to say that all that happened today (except number 3 which happened last week).
I think I need to write a book... or a script for a soap opera.... nobody can make up shit like this!
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives!

Yeah.. all that was in one day at work. Honestly, there are a lot of better days...
I am starting to get numb to the bullshit I see at work... it is scary. I guess I am still quite naive and delusional and think that my students are good kids inside. That is why I am still there.
I am so worried about the future of Egypt.
All children are good somewhere in the heart... their minds, however, have rotted a bit from too much domestic inconvenience, too much bad television, and bad bad schooling.
We don't have much social service and domestic counseling in Egypt you know. Nobody knows that they can argue for their rights to live a normal life.
I'm just waiting for the awakening. I wanna be a part of it. :)
Yeah.. I guess kids are good. I am surprised at how not good they can be at such a young age.
I guess it is bad school, parents that are too busy, too many modern day conveniences that make them not appreciate anything, the individualistic way of thinking here, the prevailing concept in this country that moeny equals power.. and that power needs to be abused.... God, the list is so long.
Reminds me of Lord of the Flies.. that most people will go bad if possible or if not governed properly.
I do not know that social service and domestic counseling.. but what do you mean by a normal life? I think these kids are living their normal lives....
I would love to be the cause of the awakening of these kids....
